Saturday in the Park

Saturday in the Park will once again be spent at the WMU front desk for this Resident Assistant. I don't really mind, it would be fun to go but making money is even funner. It gives me time to do some homework, listen to the mixtape Heathbar made me, and reflect how AWESOME my hall is.

I officially finished my first week with 23 new beautiful freshmen women on WMU Second South!! I already love them. I won't ever refer to them by name for their own privacy, but I'm sure there will be some funny stories in the future.

On Wednesday we had a pedicure party which went really well. Some girls from 3rd South came down and it was a great time for the halls to get to know each other. We played some music, hung out, and simply bonded over movie and Glee quotes. Today we went to Hornbecks (dollar theater) and saw Prince of Persia!!! If you look back a few months, you can see my full reaction to this glorious movie, and it was just as good the second time around.  I really wanted to do some fun stuff their first weekend here so they weren't able to get homesick, or worse...BORED. And it was a success!!! There was a total of 15 girls that showed up, we had to take up two rows in the theater. It's great to watch them all bond so well with each other, which is just so fantastic. And they are PUMPED for flag football in a couple of weeks!

It's going to be a great year. I just know it.
